Political Asylum

Neutralized Liliths, nurturing

and surrendering to mind - numbing gas,

lacerated by marital barbed - wire in front of them, 

in their attempt to extricate themselves from

fixating all their resources

on a man whose reign is pinned down  

by black-clad fathers, for three 

thousand shekels someone 

ready to listen to 

incriminating evidence

can always be found, 

and more than one policeman 

sneaks a hand on

a woman’s knee, under 

the garment of her flight, at night, 

in the police car "to comfort you".
